Ah the smell of victory is in the air again. Our fifth straight win at the weekend has seen us take top spot on the points table with three rounds to play. Against Grafton United we once again showed our batting is a force to be reckoned with. Credit must go to Grafton, for putting up a competitive show for parts of the game. They reached 209 before being bowled out in the 31st over. Jarrod Ngatuere was the pick of the bowlers taking 2/29 from his 6 overs. Numbers seem to mean little to our team though. We reached the target inside 22 overs, winning by 7 wickets. Aaron Taylor came back to form nicely with a quick 54, with Chris, Rob and Liam providing the backbone of the rest. No heroes but a great team effort. Can anyone stop us at the moment? Next up is an away game against East Coast Bays Gold on February 2nd. We beat them easily in round 5, so complacency is our worst enemy. ginge.
