Well the new season got off to a damp start, with the opening game against Takapuna being washed out by rain. Still 1.5 points represents a better start than last year. We (hope to) get things underway this weekend with an away game against Howick/Pakuranga. The One Day Fours have a new sponsor for this season. The Silo Bar & Grill of Manukau, have provided us with a playing strip, which will make its debut at the weekend. The search goes on for nicknames for the back of our shirts - this could get ugly. The prems have continued their good start to their one day comp, despite it being badly affected by rain. A probable semis berth for the defending champs - sweet. Anyway, heres hoping for a dry weekend and some good cricket ginge. |
